In this talk the status of a field synthesizer generating multi-TW, 1.5 femtosecond light transients at high average power is presented. The system is based on three channels of Yb:YAG pumped optical parametric amplifiers and covers a superoctave spectrum from 450 nm to 2500 nm. Additionally, the laser system is an ideal source for broadband stimulated Raman spectroscopy and microscopy.
